National Coordination Office (NCO)
Nico Adams provides project management and strategic program planning and coordination support to improve integration between operational and programmatic tasks. She also provides additional professional-level advice and implementation support to USGCRP management as needed. Her responsibilities include monitoring the NCO budget; estimating and tracking forthcoming programmatic resource needs; and revising existing or drafting preliminary and iterative versions of standard operating procedures for the NCO, including onboarding/orientation materials for staff, detailees, interns, and volunteers, and promoting the use of finalized versions across office staff.
Nico has an extensive background in financial institutions, advising senior management on risk management and best practice strategies and leading organizational and departmental projects; she has also managed operations teams and accounting functions. Nico earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland. She is also a Certified Project Management Professional.
